Default Quick poll.... Frey Bentos pies, Eaten IN or Out of the tin?

My new girlfriend just made me tea, a Frey Bentos steak and kidney pie with chips and peas.......

I could smell it and thought fab, untill she brought it to me and the pie was on the plate .

I'm a eat in a tin man myself, so i'd thought i'd ask what you lot think.

Out of the tin.

You need to bin that layer of slop that never rises properly, just under the crispy pastry.

Also, you can give the dog the valves and lump of fat that are in there if on a plate.

Have some decorum and use the correct props

They're not very nice unless drunk.

Very salty too.

I used to eat them when I left my ex wife and was constantly drunk or had them for breakfast after the walk of shame.

I think she's probably trying to tell you (via food) that it's over, actually.

She must hate you to feed you that plate of ****.

Steak and Ale Fray Bentos....mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yes I know it's pooh food - but it's great tasting poo food - and ALWAYS eaten out of the tin. It's a meal for the whole family then - you get to eat your dinner in peace and your dog gets to chase the tin around the kitchen floor for half an hour!

I was trying to think of a witty quip to reply to the OP - but I think this covers it for me .

Infact - I'd rather eat the tin than the sh!te in it

I had one last night - chicken and mush - one of the greatest food creations on this planet
I had mine out of the tin because my lady and I were sharing...
Normally it would ALWAYS be in the tin if I was being a man and having a whole one to myself

Frey Bentos pies are truly awful.

If my new girlfriend had cooked me one I would have flushed her head down the bog.
