So, if I get the cash from my bank account then go to the bank of who I am sending the money to and pay it in to their account will it be instantly available to them?

Reason for asking is that I may have to move some dosh quickly at short notice and bank Transfers would take too long. Cash is not an option for security reasons.

I think with most banks the money that has been deposited into your account is not available until the end of the day even if it is cash.

Anything over 9k usually warrants a question being asked. Unless you have a business account

I'd expect an electronic transfer to be your best bet. Maybe check your bank's website for the costs for different levels of immediacy.

Whats the safety differance in paying them cash OR going and getting the money out of your account in cash and paying it in there bank

Surely both ways you could be clubbed over the head???

For your info if you pay cash in to someones account it will show up instantly in just about every high street bank.

Cash put into someones account shows and is available instantly,
as above certain limits are in place to stop you moving too much without questions.
