Question Mortgage over payment question.

I have £132k left on my mortgage, with 18 years left. £53k is on an endowment ( ontrack ) due to finish in 2013, the rest is repayment. If I overpay by £100 per month, how much does that reduce my 18 year term by?

I'm buggered if I can work it out.

Here's hoping.

Phone and ask your provider. You may have early repayment limits as part of your contract so you could be a bit stuck!

Depends what you plan to do in 2013. Are you gong to pay off the proceeds of the endowment and then pay a lower monthly premium with overpayment, keep the premium the same including overpayment or keep paying the total mortgage + endowment amount off every month?
