Any Photocopier techies out there ?
We have a Mita DC-1260 copier that is showing a fault/service code of
C 64
I think that this is something to do with the fuse unit or thermistor ????
Is it , and is it repairable or terminal ?
Copier is our own and not under any service contract.
Any info' appreciated.
Thanks

Replace the fuser unit and see if it goes away?
As if you are going to have a spare fuser lying around if you are not under contract to any dealer
Got plenty spare here, drums, fusers, transfer belts, lasers, you name it.....but all for various models from another supplier I'm afraid

We always have spare fusers for kit that's not under contract as is considered a consumable.

easiest fix to try considering the error code is thermistor or fuser over temp.
anyway, not familiar with MITA machines so that's me out

Thanks for the quick responses.
I had done a Google search for Mita error codes hence the fuser and thermistor terms in the question, I didn't see it relate to the DC1260 though but I assume that C64 is a code across all the Mita range, meaning the same.
I wouldn't know where to begin to find the parts so it looks like a Yellow pages jobbie to find a repairer in this area, or take the desktop copier to them.
I was wondering if it is viable to repair or more than the machine is worth, we only use it for a few copies here at home.
Cheers
