Default Is there no hope?

When someone like David Cameron (who's party i'm inclined to listen to nowadays) say this:

"I'd like to see judges and magistrates tell a 15-year-old boy convicted of buying alcohol or causing a disturbance, that the next time he appears in court he'll have his driving licence delayed"

as if that will make a shred of difference David.

I feel utterly depressed.

There must be something in the water at Westminster.

Politicians really are losing touch with reality.

The problem is they are all professional politicians. Apart from getting bonged in Uni and eating beans on toast they have no idea about real people. They have never encountered the real word. They go from Uni to party activist to potential candidate to spokesman/woman to MP/AM/MEP what ever!

Pause for breath

They have never had a working class, hard, demanding job that involves interaction with the public. They quote policy, demand debate and then do f**k all but spout ****e!

How many MP's are saying "Son/daughter the Military is for you go out and defend the bollocks I am spouting, put your life on the line!"...................hmmm anyone have an idea?

They may be working class people and support the working class but they have never worked in their class........

Rant over sorry!

Guess its one of those things of hitting them where it hurts.
Not exactly brilliant thinking, but nice to see them talking about things that affect the country day to day.

What punishment has the young 12 year old lad got for throwing a cocktail sausage ?

He was dragged up in court for the offence of throwing a cocktail sausage, I am assuming he is now on death row ?

Actually not quite death row

Now surely the Chief constable and the arresting officer, not to mention the individual from the cps, should be up before the beak to account for this waste of time and resource?

ooops no, they were only chasing targets, and ensuring lunacy, sorry i mean diversity.

He was a criminal and should be severly punished for such an attrocious crime

The streets will be far safer without the likes of him throwing his sausage about

It's like when they ban somebody from driving for driving without a licence and no insurance. Superb logic.

The legal system can't win with you lot can they? the kid was arrested for yobish behaviour, it doesn't matter what he did or threw.

If he was allowed to get on with it then what next? maybe he will join a gang like that Italian kid and terrorise people!! but I suspect now he will think twice about his actions in future and just maybe the legal system scared the little **** into being a decent member of society.

Maybe if they arrested more kids and came down like a ton of bricks the country would be a better place.

This is what gets me... people are moaning that this that and the other is wrong, everything and everybody is too soft/too pc whatever. Yet when some pretty tough action is taken (i.e the sausage case) everyone bemoans the fact that it happened.

Has anyone read the story about the sausage? It was an 74 year old pensioner who had previously been victimised and intimidated by youths thought he had been hit with a stone... should it matter that it was in actual fact a sausage!?.. the old guy at the time wasn't to know this and it might have really frightened him.

The kid responsible wasn't exactly a saint either, considering he had already had 3 police reprimands prior to this incident.

If you ask me it's kids like this and their antisocial behaviour that does really need jumping up and down on, even if it does seem trivial.

Edit: Ahh missed Wurzel's post...but spot on!
