Lots of doom and gloom about at the moment, but are many of you having a really good time of it right now?
Just got another major public sector contract and we seem to have work falling out of our ears - No this is not a show off/boast post, just a generally optimistic thread to share in the "stoke!"

Thinking about going contracting. Been offered a contract for a year with a large IT company and that will double my take home. Market is up and has been for a while.

I'm fully booked up well into next year at the moment.
Struggling to get the work i've got done on time so weekends are now being used for work and not play.![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Still, can't really complain

well iv been doing two job's up until the start of june. I started my own fabrication company and have quite a few orders now, especially from the utilities companies. Utilities seems to have gone crazy at the moment.
Begining of this month saw the time to finally go self employed. Been hard at it for a few weeks now and its paying off. Im lucky to work from home too I have a large workshop and everything i need. Its nice to see such a positive thread and good luck to all of us. We work hard, and play harder!

everyone knows on here my "normal" job is shi!t, and all i get is grief, but the commission work is on the up. got around 12-18 months worth of waiting customers, and a possible major coup in germany on the cards
not all bad, but cant make a living from drawing pretty pictures unfortunatley.
