Some people at the gym take apple cider. If you are pumping iron though you need to feel the BURN tobuild muscle

Its not lactic acid which is making your legs hurt it what trainers call DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness)which is microscopic tears in the muscles.latic acid is the burning feeling you get when training. Its takes 2-3 days before the pain cause by doms goes

Damit Ritchie beat me to it. Try static stretching and ice baths post workout, i find that swimming is also great in the recovery phase.

Yeah I did 5 mins on the spin bike after... I guess I'll just have to wait it out. I only work out on my legs once a week and I'm not doing any running until Wednesday. Think I'll do a little stretching now.....

Default lactic acid

some people say its weakness leaving the body

others reckon sodium carbionate helps if you can stomach it

lactic acid build up/fatigue acts as a warning to your body that if it goes any harder, muscle injury will occur so just take a rest for a bit
