Hello There
due to get a company car for business and private use
? fuel do I opt for fully expensed and get taxed for private fuel allowance or
pay for all fuel and claim back the business mileage - hence pay for own private mileage.
what will be the goverment rate to claim back per mile ?
I only do about 50 private miles a week and wife has a car also.
dont kmow what car yet - but I presume something like focus tdi
any help or direction to web sites - I am baffled
thanks

I don't think I really save or lose anything week to week on my company car - I opted to pay the tax for the free fuel, but it does save me the messing about filling forms to claim back.
I do benefit though if I use the car for running up and down the country seeing friends, etc.
