Default The Breakfast Club

Watched it last night, having not seen it for about 10 years.

Wonderful film.

"Yeah, I got a question. Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe".
"I'll give you the answer to that question Mr Bender next saturday".

Classic

What were your favourites of the 80's? Among mine has to be:-

Top Gun
Rocky IV
Weekend at Bernies
Ferris Buellers Day Off

It's a great film. The 80's had some brilliant films but if you mean a typical 8-'s film and not some of the classics like Full Metal Jacket etc then my fave's from the 80's are.

Top Gun
Young Guns
Predator
Blood Sport
Airplane
Weird Science (Kelly LeBrock!)
Stand by Me

If we're cheating can I add 'The Deer Hunter' which I know came out in '79 but I watched it a lot throughout the '80s

I know it's cheesy, but I love Top Gun. I also have the soundtrack and listen to it far too regularly!

Favourite quote....

Maverick: "Goose, I've had about enough of this s**t, I'm gonna hit the brakes he'll fly right by" (you know the scene)

My girlfriend just tuts now when I say it to her when we're out in the car....

Breakfast Club

Scarface

Stripes

Caddy Shack

Midnight Run

Trading Places "I have legs, I can see"

Bachelor Party

Planes trains and Automobiles

Uncle Buck

a few that spring to mind

There's a great line in Weird Science when Kelly LeBrock goes into a lingere shop and asks the stuffy sales woman
Do you have a bra to match that... something leather, rubber, or barbed wire?
it would rude not to
