We have a fab new 40" flat screen telly thingy. Looks fab - but **** me does it attract the dust! The lovely black surround and base are a nightmare - utter dust magnets! It looks great for a few hours and then the pale grey veneer starts to develop!
And we don't live in a dusty environment - no main roads or factories nearby.
Apart from dusting it every day or ignoring it - has anyone got any suggestions?

I wipe it with the cloth that came with it - and haven't gone near it with the Mr Sheen.
Looks fabulous once it's clean - but it just doesn't stay that way for long......
Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Get a 9V battery, the small square ones, then attach 2 small wires to each of the terminals. One wire gets sellotaped to the left side of the TV, the other gets sellotaped to the right side. The small amount of current is enough to deter the dust from landing.

The Pledge dusters that are advertised with a dog wagging its tail are brilliant at dusting LCS's.
PS: I do mine about once every 2 weeks when the amount of dust on the stand really p!sses me off.

Not having any dust in your house reduces the amount of dust related problems. Try not to shed any dead skin, hair etc and if you do use a vacuum cleaner to remove said dust from the living room.
