Indeed so
I take it you know season 10 of SG was the last season? Although there will be a couple of direct Mini Movies to finish of the Ori storyline. But the Wraith in SGA is another story.....

Yes, I agree - worth a watch. I'm currently halfway through watching the 2nd series of SGA, and often have Stargate weekends.
I haven't got all the Series 10 DVD's yet, so I'm looking forward to the last few episodes.

SG-1 had run it's course, good as it was, but there are a couple of direct-to-dvd movies coming out, one of which will wrap up the Ori arc, the other opens some interesting opportunites for the SG-1 universe.
As for where SGA left off after SG-1 ended, well, one character from SG-1 comes over to SGA, though it's not said exactly how, and could be interesting given the climax to season 3 of SGA. All I'll say is the resident cannuck on SGA will be rather happy about the new member to the team

bit torrent is your friend if you don't have Sky. SGA is great, shame that they cut off SG-1, the Ori storyline was a good one and very rushed at the end imo ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
The format is starting to get a little tired though. Team goes to planet/place, encounters alien tech, scientists shout a lot and solve the problem (mostly). SGA Season 3 ended on a good cliff hangar, lets hope it was worth the wait.
Be careful if you download the DVDSCR torrents that are out for Season 4. They are real, but they lack a lot of the sound effects for the CGI etc. Would be a shame to spoil it for the sake of waiting a few more days

I agree, the end of the Ori arc was a little rushed, but there is a direct-to-dvd movie coming out, probably about 2 hours long that should finish off this story arc, but it could have gone to at least another season I'd have thought.

Loved SG1 but couldnt get into atlantis at 1st. I would always forget about it being on so missed a few episodes then gave up as i didnt know what was going on.
Same happened with last series of SG1. Then few month ago i spent a fortnight in bed ill, so decided to download SGL1 and catch up on all the episodes i missed.
Then i had to get atlantis so i could see what was going on in the cross over episodes. Ended up watching all 3 series of that aswell.
Been so tempted to download the series 4 eps but managed to hold off. Although i think i might give them a go after the show has been aired and iv saw it properly, as parts are meant to be quite funny where the director is making the sound affects him self.
Already read who the charachter crossing over from SG1 is , think i would have prefered one of the other ones my self although i wont spoilit for the rest of you so i wont say. Theyv also cut down the number of episodes per series

Here
Earth launches a pre-emptive strike against the Asurans who who are building a fleet of ships to attack earth. The Asurans counter attack Atlantis by using a powerful beam weapon, during the attack Elizabeth is critically injured. The team submerges the city to lessen the impact, but not by much. They decide to use the city's stardrive to escape. There is a malfunction in the system and the drive fails leaving them floating in unknown area of space with less than 24 hours worth of energy in their ZPM.

I used to love it and watched it avidly until Daniel got killed off. Then it seemed to get a bit silly.....
Still love watching the re-runs of the early seasons though.
