Got an Xbox360 which has went faulty again Ie this is my third. i'm going into curry's today to get it replaced whether they like it or not but do you think they will allow me to upgrade to an Elite? or would that seem totally out of the question?

dont think they would swap it for a elite, why dont you ask for your money back, then you cud put the rest to it. is it still under guarantee?

I imagine they'd be more likely to give you a refund if you offered to pay the difference to an Elite? Worth asking.

i dont mind paying the difference or even paying a little bit more but i'm sick of the uselessness of this product especially as i'm using it as an HD-DVD player at the moment

Well... We bought a washer / tumble dryer and American style fridge/freezer from Comet one time...

The washer dryer was late and the FF was an old shop model. I stormed into Comet and got the Assistant Manager backed into a corner. Ultimately we ended up with a brand new FF at 10% discount and an upgraded Washer/Tumble dryer (also at 10% less than the original model). Oh, and both fitted.

If you have a genuine greivance and are POLITE (as angry as I was, it was NOT the managers fault) you'd be amazed at what you can get.

I think if you go in asking to swap it for an Elite (even if you pay the extra) it will look dodgy. If you want an Elite then i'd get a refund first.

hopefully they don't think i'm dodgy as it actually is a geniue fault 3 red lights, i'm particularly not fussed on getting the elite but i think it would be nice of them if they allowed me to pay the extra.

but hopefully i'll find out in a few hours. I really need to get a car as this train travelling lark is crap!

SUCCESS i pick up my new elite on wednesday! I have to say (and i work for the competitors) that i got great customer service from the Manager of Belfasts Curry's couldnt have been treated better anywhere!
