could have been worse though (no consolation, admittedly)
But my respray on my bumper (pretty similar damage too), was £150...... somebody had put a pebble-dashed rendered wall in a place that wasn't expected!!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
They also had to remove the pit marks where the stones had damaged the plastic.
Was chuffed![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Hope this helps in some way.
Dan

Things like that really pee me off!
It happened to one of our old cars, woman who was loading her messages next to mine said it was a young lad in a blue car who hit yours, but he drove away. Did you get the reg no I asked, No I was too busy loading my shopping in to my car, gee thanx I said.
Another time it was her indoors fault, (An old astra we had had a stupid alarm which you had to turn the key in the ignition on to disable, within 10 seconds) One night she had full hands of shopping she stuck the key in the ignition, turned it too far, car jumps forward (It had been left in gear) and dinks the car in front, She sat in the car for 45 mins waiting till the owners returned, explained the situation and gave the couple our phone no etc, chap said I'll phone you tomorrow after I see it in daylight. Now as it was late at night, dark and the cp half empty she could easily have driven off. The lass who owned the car phoned me the next day to say they weren't going to claim our insurance etc as the damage was only slight, she said to thank her indoors for having the decency to wait and explain what happened
