Does anyone have the above GPS thingy? What are they like? Particularly cycling/ skiing.
If I wear (ski) gloves will itgo over or work under?
Any experiences or other reccomendations?

I have the 305 ( wanted the HR Monitor ) mine is used daily for both cycling and running.
They are chunky and you may struggle to get it under a jacket/gloves.
Absolutely love mine and is now an invaluable part of my training. Was great being able to record my runs whilst on holiday in Ibiza earlier this year then view them in Google Earth when I returned
The standard Garmin software that comes with the unit is not much cop and fairly basic, I tend to use SportTracks instead:

Hi Mogsi,
I've just downloaded the Sport Tracks on your recommendation, as I too found the standard software pretty pants.
I'm v impressed! Particularly like the satalite view of routes. Will use more often now I think
Cheers

Cheers for comments, would the strap go over the gloves/ does thin cloth interfere with GPS reception. Unless I was planning on avoiding Government based GPS systems with tin foil ?
