Removing a private plate - how long?
How long does it take to de-register a private plate on a car, and get the old or replacement ones back on?

My last one took 2 weeks as the local VRO don't do them there any more and send them off to Swansea. Not sure what reason for as you could get them done on the day if they didn't want to inspect the vehicle ....
