Tea
Yep that's right a thread about tea, or coffee if you so desire.
Went into cafe nero and had a chai latte, now i thought this was coffee, i was like woah don't want tea, she said give it a try.
My i was very surprised, sort of in between coffee/tea and the cinnamon was a very nice topping.
I usually go for a latte or my favourite a starbucks caramel
macchiato.
So now i have chai and lady grey teas sitting in the cupboard.
What's your favourite tipple?

Fresh filter coffee. Strong enough to stamd the spoon up in Like Garfield. Black no sugar.
If instant D Egberts, 2 1/2 teaspoons to a mug, tiny splash of milk, and a bit of Brown sugar to take the bitterness away!!.
Can't you tell I drive for a living!!!!.

I fail to see how Nescafe can be classed as coffee. Granted, it's got a distinctive taste (not to my liking though), but it tastes NOTHING like real coffee.......
My parents drink it, and when asked if I want a coffee, I'll just ask for water!
I much prefer a decent cup of filtered Blue Mountain. Milk. No sugar.

Yeh, Jamaican Blue Mountain - pricey, but IMHO, worth it.
Don't have it every day, but it is affordable if you get it off Ebay
I brought a load home when I was working out there
Kenyan Blue Mountain is nice too

I love it...it's subtle.
Go to Whittards and get one of their loyalty card thingies. You accumulate (sp?) points and can get free coffee. Only thing is, the Blue Mountain is exempt from that offer!

My dad sums up my thoughts nicely when it comes to these posh coffee shops. Occasionally you will find him in one, when all other members of the party have dragged him there.
They will ask him what he wants. "A Coffee" is the reply. Heaven help the poor girl if she trys to go through all of the available options. "Coffee, hot water, milk, in a big mug. Thanks"

I got a built in coffee maker when I got my kitchen done well worth every penny. I have had it since Jan and upto about 1300 brews. I now spend a fortune in Whittards. Don't half miss it when i'm away from home. I must try this Blue Mountain stuff.

Back on topic, love my Tea too......
Have cut down from Intravenous Drip (well, almost - 3 or 4 cups per hour)..... (studios demand this type of behaviour! )
Only have about 4 per day now. Milk. 1 sugar. strong (either Tetley or Yorkshire Tea)

Had some friends round who were raving about the brew I served them until I told them it was Senseo. I'd love to see a blind taste test between exclusive/gourmet coffee brand X at 15 quid a cup and good quality brand Y at 50p.
On the tea front. Any of these Twinings bags made with freshly drawn and boiled water with one sugar and a splash of milk would do just fine -
English Breakfast
Earl Grey
Lady Grey
Prince of Wales
Darjeeling
Ceylon
Lapsang Souchong is quite horrible as is anything made with London tap.
