Heather Mills, what a performance!
Heather Mills fights her corner on GMTV - Glamour model turned charity campaigner to change law - on Bore Me
Is she crying? Is she angry? So many genuine emotions! How the hell can she bring the McCanns and Princess Diana into her crap is unbelievable.

You know, I watched it yesterday and agreed with every single word she said. The press is largely to blame for the way the whole country now behaves.
She was in total control of what she was saying AND put it across superbly in my opinion. It's about time somebody in the public eye highlighted this problem of the power of the press.
Building people up and then knocking them down is no more than a nasty, childish game for the press and what's worse is most of the unintelligent public believe every word they read. (Or have read to them!)
If she needs me to rip into these weasels then I'm available. I'd absolutely cherish the opportunity.

She's done nothing to further her cause with all these TV appearances. She came across as a moaning, whiny bitch to me. She would've been better off maintaining a dignified silence.

Retards in this country buy the tabloids and trash womens mags and believe it all. Anybody with half a brain can pick through the bones of what is put out. these people love the fame the media brings when it's good for them then hate it when it does them no favours. She's a money grabbing slag and I hope she ends up penniless in the gutter. Money has been her motivation all along and Paul M like any daft bloke followed his dick and not his brain.

I also agree about her comments on the Press, whilst Heather may not be the most perfect person, they way they have persecuted her is totally disgraceful. The tabloids are the real scum with no morals, hell bent on selling papers with no regard for the truth. I stopped reading newspapers 2 years ago, I cant be bothered to pay money to read the opinion of the editor/owners and they way they try to stir up feelings of hate to anything they don't agree with.
I think some papers will go bust in the future, with the continuing expansion of the Internet providing free news without all the crap that tabloids print. Trinity Mirror group being the first to go under..............here's hoping!

It does raise a smile that in order for her to publicise the issues about the hogwash peddeled through the UK's media, that she has done it via GMTV. Which is about as concerened with the truth as your average MP on a smear campaign.

I believe nothing has been even closely agreed concerning the divorce and where I dislike how the female usually has an unfair advantage in such cases, McCartney married her voluntarily.
Been there, done that but it was wrongly my choice.

You read that in a newspaper, right? Or maybe you know her?

she is a moany old cow but she does have a good point. the british media are complete c*nts who have too much power and who lie about nearly everything just to sell papers.
Perhaps I should suggest that no one buy the papers but that won't happen, i mean i bought one myself this morning but at least it isn't sum scummy tabloid

I certainly agree about the media weasels, they seem to be able to get away with anything and they have no conscience or sense of decency whatsoever.
I also think she is attempting to play a blinder when it comes to her future settlement!

Lets face it, or keep it real, whatever the financial settlement she's not going to be left wanting.

Some celebrities seem all to eager to court the press (largely talking about tabloids here) when it suits them, but then start to whine when something goes wrong and the press turns against them.
It appears to me that the celebrities that prefer a quiet life and don't court the positive attention also get a lot less negative attention too.
Press coverage isn't like a tap - they can't turn it on and off to suit themselves.

To be more accurate, I'd call it cynicism
I did laugh at how she slags the media off, yet uses it to her own advantage
She can't have it both ways - by marrying one of THE most famous people in the world, how could she have expected to be left in privacy afterwards.
The media is a tool for self-publicity. IMHO, she shouldn't complain when the media "bites back".
