I was going to post up on it but this post was here already. When are the Japs going to move out of prehistoric times? An attack on their culture if you dare criticise them? Well take my comments as an attack then because your 'culture' is barbaric and cruel

Their culture sucks then, thats my opinion, killing an animal for no reason that cant defend itself in any culture is wrong and should be punishable, i hope the efforts of a well known face can help in some way to change the prehistorc ways of japans fishing culture.

But it isn't for no reason really is it, because they eat them! I'm not condoning the way they kill the dolphins at all, but we line hundreds of cows etc up at slaughterhouses for the purpose of eating them.....is that somehow less cruel because we don't like cows as much as dolphins?

I gave up on this sh;t tip of a country a long time ago and have been looking into emigration for a while now.
I believe in this country we kill our animals for human consuption humainly (spelling?) not by hearding them into a cave and butchering them because the meat will taste better as the animal was scared when it died.

I find it worse that Koreans eat dogs, because in my culture doggies are lovely likkle wuffy fluffy woowoo wonder woofs
different cultures - different feelings attached to different animals...
We slaughter cows and pigs which to some are sacred.

Rant mode
I hardly think laughing at a "bad taste" (no pun intended) joke makes you a sick person.
I'm with Pete on this issue. I find it absurd that someone insults a complete stranger on here on the basis of what was clearly intended as a joke, without knowing diddly squat about them. I'm guessing you wouldn't talk to someone in a pub like that!!
So, just cause I make a joke, I'm supporting cruelty to animals am I?
A load of sanctimonious PC bollox quite frankly!
End rant mode

It was a JOKE!! It's not intended to be adult and constructive; it is intended to entertain! If you don't like it, you have three options:
a) Ignore it
b) Articulate you opinion in a more positive manner than simply calling me a sick ****.
c) If you feel it is deeply offensive to the community, report me to the mods
Ns04
PS BTW On the subject of classifying me as sick, it might interest you to know, I happen to hold a PhD in Psychology, so It's "Dr" **** to you!!

Dolphin Hunting Season Starts In Japan |Sky News|Home
Has anyone told the Japanese the breaking news that Dolphins are not a fish? For what are considered one of the most advanced countries on this planet they really do come out with some really thick ideas.
Fear is said to affect the quality and taste of the meat - so they are left hanging up by the neck overnight before being butchered the next morning.
Many Japanese fishermen believe dolphins should be treated like any other fish.

Personally I don't agree with dolphin hunting. We recognise them as sentient and should not be treating them in way.
I'm also concerned about cruelty too wee Hayden - surely the nips could have though of something better to do with her ?!
