.............suddenly started coating all my glassware and the darker mugs with a white coating? The inside of the dw is coated too

I've just had to handwash 18 glasses with Mr Muscle Limescale Destroyer to get them clean.

I haven't changed the powder, rinse-aid or salt, and both rinse-aid and salt are full.

Nor have I changed any settings.

What might be wrong?

Any advice gtatefully received, I HATE washing glasses!

Sounds like you're out of salt! If, as you say it's full, check for blockages and that the top is on properly.

is the white coating like u would get in a milk bottle? if so it is limescale. which relates to the salt/regeneration unit. Have u neglected to fill the salt container in the past? S****horpe is a terrible place for hard water and u need to keep topping up the salt.....
