Blade Runner - DVD re release with original version
1982 Theatrical Version: This is the version that introduced U.S. movie-going audiences to a revolutionary film with a new and excitingly provocative vision of the near-future. It contains Deckard/Harrison Ford's character narration and has Deckard and Rachel's (Sean Young) 'happy ending' escape scene.
1982 International Version: Also used on U.S. home video, laserdisc and cable releases up to 1992. This version is not rated, and contains some extended action scenes in contrast to the Theatrical Version.
1992 Director's Cut: The Director's Cut omits Deckard's voiceover narration and removes the "happy ending" finale. It adds the famously-controversial "unicorn" sequence, a vision that Deckard has which suggests that he, too, may be a replicant.
Always preferred the voice over version.

There's a 5 disc set with the versions mentioned above, plus the 'Final Definitive Ridley Scott Directors cut' and the original 'Workprint Cut' which the studio then butchered into the theatrical release. Also available in a limited edition aluminium case which looks like the Bladerunners replicant detection equipment case from the film. The final cut also has a fully remastered Dolby Digital surround track

Best prices and full spec being discussed HERE
I've gone for the 5 disc set but without fancy case as I don't think even special/limited edition SD DVD's will carry any worth in future as HD formats take over. Fine if you just want to own it, but no investment IMHO. I am even considering selling my Jap Superbit Jurassic Park whilst it is still worth 5x what I paid for it
