Default eBay question...

Is there a way I can search for old ended listings?

For example, I have an old listing number: 4583046862

But can't find it on search, I know it existed (A Scott motorcycle listed in 2005 ).

Is there a way to dig it back up so I can see what the end bidding price was?

This listing (4583046862) has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure you entered the right item number.
If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it cancelled. Note: Listings that have ended more than 90 days ago will no longer appear on eBay.

I presume you got those details from the same "scott owners forum" that I got the number from, Sonic

Despite me being a member, the old sods are somewhat coy and reserved when it comes to valuating their bikes.

And I thought the hutch "had" a clique

Unlikely. I guess you could ask ebay, they might have it stored somewhere. Of course if they could do it, there would be a small fee

I didn't get the VW

Oh well, looks like I need to try another tact.

Think I'll have to register a pseudonym and ask them what the value is of a "virtual" bike belonging to a "virtual" friend who is selling it to me

Otherwise, if I prance in as myself, they'll sniff a sale, and start badgering me to join the club's parts pool, or I'll get houded by peeps asking me if its for Sale and giving intentionally low valuations because they think they could be in with a chance of buying.....crafty beggers

I'm not paranoid, honest

I thought someone said at the time when they looked at that ref number it came back as a VW, the last digit changed to a 1 (instead of 2) was for the Flyer

Is yours as good as this then

Have you tried asking ebay btw

'After 90 days, auction listings are removed from availability and can only subsequently be accessed through official eBay channels, usually only when needed as evidence in legal matters, though from time to time customer service may be willing to provide information or copies from such listings.'

Ahh, found it, now I know what your on about ...I got the listing # off a different thread.

It's worth a try. But seeing I have no legal interests, I doubt they'll provide it.

Mine isn't a '36...I just used that ebay number as an example.
