For as long as I can remember I have wanted to do something totally different for Christmas, So this year I can, kids have left home and are busy with their own lives, my wife has only 2 days off, my own business goes quiet for a couple of weeks, so can anybody suggest any ideas what to do,
On my own, Max of 5 days, total, budget of around £1200.

goto denmark, you will love it nicest bunch of people ever, and christ do they know how to party at christmas!! just avoid jule ol (christmas beer) its like double strength whisky in lager form. also they drink til the early hours.

would recommend going to esbjerg by boat and staying in kolding or lunderskov kolding is l a 24hr city and lunderskov a local village.

its great at christmas.

Skye is good, there's no bugger there, great scenery and you can drive like a loon!

£1200 pound will just about cover the drinks bill. It was £6 a pint when we went to Silkebourg and Arhaus.

Funnily enough its called The Ice Hotel and its in the arctic circle in Sweden.


I looked at it before I came single, about £130 a night at peak times.

Just dont drive past the airport on your way... might get shot!

I would consider and ice driving course, on a frozen lake. Tend to book up quite early though.
