main diet consists of cat fish (plucked from a bath) or chickens (live ones at first)

That looks very much like a cat my Mum's neighbour used to have, hers was apparently part Lynx/Puma or some such though, she brought it back with her when she came home from the US

It was as soft as ****, my tiny little sparrow hunter used to make it's life a complete misery

Feckin 'ell. Ive seen what mine can do in a panic i.e. shred my shoulder after ripping right through my t-shirt when the ex dropped a pan and I happened to be holding her. Would not like to get on the wrong side of that

i saw one of them in san diego zoo last year.

they are gorgeous but i can imagine they can be nasty attacking you.

I think you'll find in the UK that this species is not excepted in the dangerous wild animals act and will therefore need a DWA licence to keep subject to proving you can house it and contain it adequately etc. (something most normal domestic cat owners can't demonstrate for that matter).

Imagine a male version wandering around the local estate f#cking all the females he could lay his paws on whilst eating any rivals that got in his way.

Can you also imagine finding that in your engine bay keeping warm.
