think thats put me off the nokias is the reliability. Software is too buggy in my opinion. Problem with them these days is they are just banging phones out left right and centre, they need to sort out their software first
Good thing with the Nokias though is the general good spec.
Have you thought about the new SE W960i? That has got touch screen like the Viewty, dont think the camera is as good (cant remember the exact specs) but it is the phone I want next but it isnt available yet on the 3 network

What's wrong with the software? I've had my N95 for 6 months and not had a single crash or glitch so far...

Had my N95 a few months now with no issues. People moan about the battery life, people at work are always borrowing my charger. The battery is not an issue if you use your grey matter - I have a charger on my desk and I use the phone to get me up in morning so it's on charge all night.
I turned off 3g which helps save the battery and make sure you close all the apps and not just press the red button. You can buy 8gig card for them now for around 40 quid, ordered mine today. I have always had Nokia's and this is one of the best phone's I have owned. Weighs less then my old 6280 as well.

Have to agree with the last few posts.
4 of us out of 8 in the office have N95's and all think they are awesome phones
Early phones had software issues, but most will tell you its fine now. Trick phone, full of software and clever bits, and its a practical phone for calls and texts too. Bonus eh

Confidence is well and truly lost in Nokia for this time, which is a shame as when they work they work well and are ergonomically sounds as well, although the N95 for my liking is a bit chunky. Nokia havent produced a truly great phone since the 2110i
To read the last few posts it seems nokia may have improved the software but as I say my confidence has been lost for now

I got my new Viewty a few days ago and I'm very happy with it so far. I didn't want something as bulky as the N95 and I didn't much like the buttons on the k850i. I mainly use it for texting, talking and the camera, so it made sense for me to go for the viewty as it's a nice sized phone.
Came from a SE K810i. I managed to get unlimited texts, 600 anytime, any network minutes and the phone free on o2 for £25pm on an 18mnth contract. I was going to cancel and pressed the selections to go to cancellations. Told them I was going to go to Orange until they pulled this out of the bag and changed my mind...!!

I'm already with O2, so I rang customer services on 0870 600 3009.
Thing is, maybe I got the deal because I was genuinely going to leave for Orange and I sounded convincing...!
They also said as I was a "loyal and long standing customer" they could offer me £10 off the normal £35pm.
Rare stuff this looking after old customers. Normally it's just the new ones that get taken care of.

"The wrong box was ticked" on their computer apparently.
Make sure you check your paperwork when it comes through in case they're trying to sneakily wriggle out of the anytime, any network unlimited texts.
Oh, and just to add, Orange do the same contract, £35pm and £29 for the phone, but are giving away free 2gb iPod Nano's this weekend so I was told by the very, very pleasant Sheryl at Orange....
