Default Sony Ericsson 850i Problems

Just got the new 850i and I'm generally pleased with it however compared to the previous model when using the buttons there is a delay with the function happening so much so that I end up pushing the button twice and then getting a function I don't want especially when texting, it seems a software issue to me but is anyone else having the same prob.................

Haven't had any problems with mine, other than the camera being a bit naff in low light (unless you select the 'twilight portrait' option). Anyway, there's a firmware upgrade due out on the 10th hopefully this will fix this & other issues. Your particular phone sounds like it might be duff though, send it back or try doing a master reset on it.

No delay on mine either.
Had it a couple of months and very impressed with it so far.

Mine is rubbish, it switches itself off randomly with no given warning. Also, when you charge it overnight the keypad glows when it finishes charging and so therefore when you switch it on, the battery is half dead. I have found the camera rubbish too, but the battery does last a long time!!

Is this the K850i that is being referred to?

If so, no problems with mine BUT does anyone know how to adjust the backlight timeout?

Miss*scoobygav* posting (can't be ar$ed logging out then back in)

I was pleased with mine at first but I also get a delay on my phone and sometimes no matter what you press it seems to have turned itself off then 15-20 later it comes to life again on the main screen!? I'm thinking about changing my phone for another because it annoys me, plus the battery won't charge to a 100%!? I find the camera not to good in dull light either!! But apart from that its a great phone!!
