Enough alcohol to kill an elephant, I think
Meeting in pub last Wednesday pm, Christmas do last Friday from 1.30 pm until 3.30am Saturday, blagged an invite to wife's Christmas party yesterday (alcohol flowing from 11.30 am until about 8.00 pm), out tomorrow from mid afternoon to late, "lunch" on Thursday which will last from 1.30pm until the small hours, and the same again on Friday

I envy you all sat at work with nothing to do except plan how much booze to consume over the festive period. I'm rushing round the house cleaning, washing spare bedding, filling vases with winter blooms, sorting out menus, panicking about when to buy my veggies and generally flapping about all the family coming here for Christmas. How I wish I was getting extremely drunk
Please spare a thought for all us wimmins left to organise the whole holiday on our own whilst our menfolk do as they please

I am just working as normal, slacking involves going in quarter of an hour later and finishing a few minutes early, cant really do much due to a change freeze, my diet has degenerated a bit and I am drinking a little bit more.

Ok, no weekend break. Its to be hoped I don't kark it then, the amount of alcohol that will be in my system, if they cremated me it would take a week to put out the fire

Finish in about 30mins and not back until the 7th. With the wife placed firmly up the duff, I will be mostly drinking and getting taxied around.
happy days
And being Scottish I can confirm that a good stiff one (parp parp!) in the morning really helps the day go by.
e.g. Saturday -
10:00 train, couple of Stella
11:00 Pub. more stella
12:00 - watch the gooners in the pub. more stella
15:00 - Go to Parkhead to watch Celtic scrape a poor draw against Hibs
17:00 - pub, stella
23:00 - last train home
00:00 wake up at the end of the train line and pay £40 to get a taxi back the 20miles that I have overshot
