When will the BBC madness end?

Probably around the same time people stop reading the Daily Mail. So they spend £16m on relocating staff (not buying people's houses off them, £16m doesn't buy many houses in London these days ) but how much are they saving in moving operations out of London and by taking experienced staff they are saving on recruitment and training costs. At least they haven't off-shored with our money.

The BBC is to buy the homes of up to 1,500 staff and give them relocation packages of about £8,000 each as part of plans to shift operations to the North.

British Gas do it, thats how we relocated from Oldham.
Dont forget the BBC will sell the house after its bought it off the employee so theyre not wasting that much, only in fee's etc where it gets wasted.

I went to the ex-head of BBC1's house in Notting Hill, all paid for by the beeb I think.. It was two large georgian houses, one for him and family, the other for "office at home"
