Went into work today, (had some odds and sods to close off etc)
as i was walking away from the car, an ambulance pulled out from the rear entrance, with its blues and two,s going.. shortly followed by another.
Now i know last year we had a contractor fell out of his digger and bust his leg, so i presumed it was something similar.
At about lunchtime, all the flags at our place were lowered to half mast.
Turns out one of our people had a heart attack as they walked accross the entrance to work.
makes you realise how fragile we really are![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Definatly mate, one of the key figures from another forum I use collapsed at work and sadly died. In an instant, from happy father and husband.... well you know the rest.
Life is seriously precious, I have always said treat it with respect but live it to the max.

Ive bust my ankle and limping 2 weeks on, hospital said yesterday I have to wait 6 weeks before I can even start my physio, I was gutted and moaning like fek cause I cant play football til next season or even exercise, then you realise how lucky you still are compared to someone else when you hear others "proper" bad news. Wont say who or what but its certainly bad

Yep, I went to the doctor with a little problem downstairs the other day, I had to strip off and he took a look, its the loss of dignity when they start prodding around I struggle with , he asked me what the problem was so I explained, "Nothing, its a beauty isnt it !"
Just thought I would lighten the mood....

Always worth counting your blessings. I have seen so many terribly ill people in the hospitals I have been in. Their spirit is usually so uplifting in the way they bear their troubles too.

Sorry to hear but how many of us actually take care of our health? all well and good saying how fragile life is etc and then going back to your KFC bucket meal. Of course things like J4CKO's mate are sods law but how many people will take part of the time they do reflecting on this poor blokes death to think how they can improve their fitness?

sorry to hear that.
We had a neighbour drop dead suddenly a few months ago of a brain hemorrhage.
She'd just finished dinner and went outside to have a smoke and the hemorrhage happened. Her husband has said that the coroner recconed with the hemorrage she would have been dead before she hit the ground!
