The last time we did my son was 6 months old. Looked dead cute. But he wouldn't shut up from the minute we arrived until we left!! Very embarrassing .... luckily we had a later sitting and the table next to us said 'isn't he cute' etc.
Great we had no washing up though .....

restaurant at xmas = nightmare
none of the staff want to be working, everything is sloshed together while screaming kids wont shut up in the background = my idea of hell

Good idea in principle but a couple of people end up driving whilst everyone else gets lagged, unless of course if it is in walking distance.
My closest pub is 'Hungry Horse' no way I will be having a Christmas Meal in there

Last year I did, but then I was about 7000 (or more) miles away sat next to some ice blue water and a coral sandy beach.
This year it's Christmas day with the God squad part of the family.
