Painful to swallow, keep clearing my throat and it HURTS Temperature up and down like a yo-yo, headache and I feel like sh*t.

Off back to bed now, just been woken by a delivery guy with one of the kids' new phone. Do THEY get up? Nope

I was thinking about this t'other day, I had my tonsils out 3 years ago at Christmas to minimise unpaid sick leave! Best thing I ever did because I used to have serious tonsilitus where I didn't know where I was for 4 days and then another week of recovery.... Was horrible!

Take care mate. Get some Covornia or whatever it's called and go to bed. Crappy time to feel this way!

5 months ago i got glandular fever and tonsilitus at the same time, ended up being rushed into hospital, it took me 20 mins to recover from walking slowly up the stairs

8 litres of fluid pumped into me, 5 lots of intravenus antibiotics, 3 doses of steroids, dozens of pain killers/anti inflametry etc to control the pain and reduce the hug lump in my neck, given intrevenusly and then odd additional drug here and there that i was to out of it to understand.

in the end it damaged my spleen and few other organs, luckily i've made a full recovery, but it affected me for about two months after

Had really bad flu and spent most of xmas day in bed!

I've got a throat infection and a chest infection - antibiotics for christmas..

To add to the misery, my other halfs nan was taken into hospital Tuesday night after a fall - serious infection... and the ward they have put her in has a chronic puking and pooping bug - which his Grandad has now got..

Merry bloody christmas! I really don't want christmas this year
