Default Xmas dinner / diet dilemma, help!

Right it goes a little something like this...

7 weeks ago I started the diet, knowing it ran over Xmas. With a goal to lose 66lbs by the 8 week mark.
I promised myself at about week 2-3 that if I managed to get my weight starting with 14 stone.... I would have a little Xmas dinner.
Remembering I ave not eaten a thing for 7 weeks now, the dinner is going to be a very small one anyway, but I appear to be approx 3-4lbs over, currently at 15 stone 4. Thats 51lbs gone in the 7 weeks.

So let SN decide, should I have this dinner?
I have a week left on the program and introduce food back into my diet from 1st Jan.

At one week to go, you're pretty much there as far as introducing proper food back into your diet. Your tum will have shrunk so there's little danger of you over-eating and after seeing first hand the LL diet stuffs, I don't think one healthy meal will do you any harm.
The Christmas dinner doesn't have to be mega fattening. Turkey meat is very lean and if you roast it in a bag then it doesn't get dried out plus you could just have steamed veg on the side. We do have the roast potatoes, chipolatas and stuffing (well, he does) aswell.

I bought the Xmas dinner this year as motivation to get close enough to have some. All M&S finest. But as you say the chances of eating too much is 0.
Few slices of turkey, couple of spuds, a slice of parsnip, and lots of sprouts

I reckon he ate Saxo Boy and acquired his powers of over analyzing things.

Eat Drink and be Merry, just watch the booze, choccies and crisps, Christmas Dinner is actually pretty good for you if you major on the Turkey and the veg.

I am just going to worry about it in Jan.

Snazy ain't even close to Kenny's level of 'analyticalness'

However, I'm sending this thread to my old Kung Fu master who lives in the mountains of Xian Province of China. He's asked me to forward this thread as he's heard of a lone Taoist monk who has been in a cave for 8 years who believe it or not hasn't yet heard about Snazy's weight loss

lol cheers guys. Im not really going over board worrying about it, I just thought I would get some opinions. At the end of the day I will still do my own thing.

As for the 2 that have said whats special about Xmas dinner. Nothing really, its just another roast dinner. However, its the only time the whole family get together, and more importantly I want to see how many times I can make my nephew cry on Xmas Day lol.

84, yup its slowed down a bit now, but its certainly a good average Kinda what I was hoping for.

Blimy
Thats some loss that mate, very well done to you

If you dont mind me asking, how much does the lighterlife programme cost all in (i know the food packs are quite dear), and how long is it over

Ive looked at the website, and there is no mention of costs?

Yep, well done.

Now put a little back on and back on it (the diet) in the new year.

It costs £66 a week. Which on the grand scheme of things, considering it replaces ALL you intake, is not actually that bad
Takes some getting used to but im in a routine now, and would happily use the packs as part of my every day intake

£66 = 28 foodpacks various flavours inc bars from week 2
£9 = water additive. Excellent for those not liking water.

From my perspective.... If you need to lose weight, its money well spent. In the middle of all this dieting, I have also had to fork out £500 a month on physio !

Jacko, the diet ends on Dec 31st Then I go onto management, which is possible to still lose weight on anyway. All under control

Im out over NY so wont be needing another dinner. However NYD is my first official day of eating again, so technically im allowed that.

Just about to eat now, so lots of veg, a bit of turkey, and then the toilet for me lol

Bah, that was over rated lol
2 slices of turkey, 2 potatoes and some carrots, and I was done!

I will stick to the shakes and soups from Lighter Life lol

Just made the whole desire for food a whole lot easier. Bring on the next week of abstainance.
