Man that was weird. That Peter was taking the **** but it was down to the sister Tina not being strong enough to stand up to him. Dad Yogi (what a name) offered no help to her and his input to a family run business seemed to be sitting in the corner eating all night.
Did seem that a lot of them played up to the camera. But still entertaining although will agree doesnt seems as good as UK one so far (loved the one in wales "you cant go running around like shrek in a frock").
Was funny to see the look on their faces when Ramsay told him to shut the ***k up. They were like wow wed never had done that.
They didnt show him on the return - no doubt as Peter went back to old ways.
Is the entire series being shown as its disappeared from my Sky + planner now?

I thought it was hilarious - was laughing all the way through it. It was either set up and they where just playing to the cameras or they really didnt have a clue waht was happening or where to scared to say anything to Peter perma tan !
Interesting that they focused on the management / family side of the show and very little about the ability of the chefs.
Americans - have to love them - just for there sense of theatre !

thought it was quite good however i was dissappointed Gordon did not find a LOCAL market full of GREAT, FRESH, LOCAL produce to use in the restaurant, along with his simplified, traditional menu!
Really like the programme, but surely these people must know he is going to say the same thing as he says at each establishment.
It still amazes me that these people invest so much money and normaly time into these places with little or no experience with managing a restaurant and people, real, real basics that GR normally puts into place that these people do not employ a proper manager with a bit of experience to save themselves 2/3k per month when they are losing thousands week in week out.

Seems to be his answer to everything
Still, plenty of smacking his hands together, that seems to fix things

Im suprised the yanks dont already have a Restaurant Makeover programme as they have it for literally everything else. My ex used to watch these programmes where they turn your house into a palace complete with top range furniture, a new car, pool - everything you can think of. Although must admit it was normally for the needy i.e. single dad with 4 kids after mum died etc.
