i was just commenting that its all a load of sh1te on cable,i thought i know ill watch a movie downstairs.goes down girlfriend lying back in my reclining chair.sits down opens a bottle of beer.emmerdale was just fininshing,arr great we can have a movie on..GF nooooooo im watching east enders..whattt that pile of Sh1te on a christmas day.so ive grabbed my bottle of beer and said right im going back upstairs to see my other GF until this load of effing crap has finished..im just waiting to hear some footsteps on the stairs..so think i might watch resident evil extinction...

1970 and it didnt use conventional track as the later one did. The horses were on a wire rod with a small bogie car running underneath the clip-on racing surface.

It's not from the 1970's - maybe from 1992 at a guess?
I have an old Scalextric in the attic which I have had since 1960 something, and it was secondhand then! It's in its box with 2 old racing F1 cars - one green and one red. A pot of oil too, if I remember correctly?

I got the book out, thats how I know that it was 1970. The early nineties one was conventional and much better: using conventional track coloured green. Thats why I posted the link for the corner chicane (and chicane straight piece, theyre very rare).
