OK here goes. My lad has just got an X Box 360 and is wanting to "go online" so he can play against his mates. Will I be able to use the internet at the same time or will I have to go wireless? I am on AOL silver, will it be quick enough for him to play games on? Please, any advice will be welcomed.

Sorry, but your question is a bit vague. Are you wireless or not??? If not, is there a ethernet port on your means of connecting to the internet

yes just put the ethernet cable in the xbox and the other end in the pc then you have to setup a network so the pc picks up the xbox is the xbox in the same room if not you will have to buy a bigger ethernet cable get massive ones from pc world,but yes you can still use the pc as normal and your son can play without any problems

Depending on how old he is you might want to disable chat. There are some foul mouthed bullies on there my 13 year old nephew was in tears because someone threatened to hunt him down and "cut his f#cking throat"

Hi wrx, I have just had a word with my Son, he said the ethernet cable is supplied with the Xbox. The ends look like the ends of what you plug into the phone line at the wall. Sorry, thats the way he described it
I bought him a little wireless gadget for Christmas which he has plugged into the back of his Xbox, so he now has no need for the cable. His was plugged direct into the back of our router.

which 360 did he get is it the premium or the core pack i think the premium came with the cable and the core didnt,if you or your son rake the box you should find it ,it should be the only cable not in use at the minute other than the headset

Hi guys, thanks for your replies. Beginning to make sense to a degree now. He got the Halo3 edition. With regards to the little box in the back of the Xbox, where did you get it from please.

game,gamestation pcworld and even toysrus if you mean the xbox360 wireless adaptor but you need to go wireless for that to work and get a wireless router
