Default who else got a Wii today and played it all afternoon.

Who else has been anti social all afternoon, but it has made for a fun after dinner game.
Youngest to play was 29.. oldest to play 85!! (Jo's gran)

How luck am i to have a sister in law who managed to bring back a Wii from Adelaide (Oz) on Saturday... after she'd been in Oz for the last 4 months.
Perth had all sold out, but went in a shop in Adelaide that still had some left. So brought one back for us... PL version too, just needs a plug adaptor.

all the Wii Sport games are brill.

now, need another hand set and nuckchucca thingie.... also more games.

what games have you lot got that are good, fun, interactive sociable games to play?

mario olympics any good?

Turd King, not sure but will secretly find out over the next few days, but don't think Adelaide have the frenzy buying public like over here, Anna said it was so 'sleepy' there it was if they didn't know what a Wii was!!

WRX300scooby.
how about three + five matches at tennis, i had to take my xmas sweater off.. I was shattered, had to pass the hand sets over to someone else for the final two games, till i lost! lol

yup got one for the kids (yeah right ). they went back to their mums and so all day we have been playing it. The wii sports is great, golf is a pita as it dosent always recognise your swings, the boxing made me sweat like a stuck pig, but the bowling and tennis are great. I am a tennis god !!!

Got tiger woods, ea playground and smarty pants. The latter is quite fun when you are drunk

Also got a funky blue cooling bases (got to get one of those, they are cool ) and a rapid charger for the remotes

great, great fun

Phil, the blue cooling things is ummm cool
cools down the unit as it tends to get very hot and lights up with blue neons, so that would appeal to someone like you.

Hi Phil,

I got a PS3 and bought Lorraine a DS because her brain needs training.

Not had chance to have a good go on either yet but looking forward to Motorstorm, Colin McRae Dirt and F1 championship.

Workmates had a Wii and going over new year to try it out.

Cheers
Lee

My Wife and I got one too but we haven't had much chance to play it yet We only have wii sports so far but we should be getting Mario & Sonic at the olympics soon.

It was interesting watching my parents playing tennis on the one at Swiss's house today I have a feeling that they want one too

Quick Reply: who else got a Wii today and played it all afternoon.
