Default Any Sky engineers on?

I have installed a Sky HD box that I purchased from ebay,phoned Sky and signed up for HD subscription,all working great.

The HD box had a yellow sticker on the front saying;

NOTE TO THE INSTALLATION ENGINEER!
It is imperative that the OVER AIR SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD is performed during installation.

Will this have done by Sky when they set up my sudscription or is there a way of getting into the menu on the box to do it?

Thanks

Merv

Does your box smell ?

I paid £25 for a non phone connection, and as far as i know, no over air sw download was carried out.

All the guy did, was phone sky to get the card activated

Might just need a software download? Switch the box off at the wall and then hold the backup button(on the box not the remote) in when switching back on for about ten seconds, when all the lights come on, leave it to do what it needs to
