Default HELP lost MOT Certificate

I need to produce my MOT certificate. Now I know I had it when I taxed my car a few months ago and IIRC it expires around June time.

I've looked everywhere for it. I've found the log book and insurance, but it's not with them.

I bought the car last July from a trader in the Autotrader, so I don't even have his number anymore to find which garage did the MOT.

Can I get a duplicate? The poo-lice are a waste of space..... "you HAVE to produce it"!!!!!!!! I asked them to check on the database (it's what it's for after all), but they won't.

STRESSED

Yes you can get a duplicate from the mot station - i think its about 10 quid for this, if you dont know where it is maybe your dealer can help.

As they are computer registered now, any MOT garage should be able to print you one off for a tenner!!

I assume that the Police do have access to the database which can check for insurance and MoT status. I don't know what you did to upset them but it seems they are just being bloody minded about it and wasting their time and yours. dl
