Hello
Does anyone know anything about water filters? We need to have one fitted and need a 'good' one but I'm having difficulty determining what 'good' means and can find them from £100 to over £1200.
The reason we need one is that my wife is not very well, and minerals in mineral water and the chemicals in tap water make the condition worse.
Thanks,
Steve

When we had a new kitchen fitted we had one installed, so we have 3 taps, hot, cold and filtered, its a Franke one so try their website. The Britta filter jugs are pretty good though.

Used these people before, very reasonable and uber helpful on email.
If you can replace your tap for a 3 way, much neater, then use the same flter kit to supply it.

Im using brita too, not sure how good it actually is, but makes the 8-9 litres of water a day that I drink easier to stomach.
I thought they were actually really good? Will have to look more into them. Got me curious now.
