HELP required please, MAN U fans
My girlfriend supports MAN U, now I know absolutley nothing about football whatsoever, and would like to take her to Manchester for a weekend and take her to a match.
Now how hard are tickets to get hold of?
Where from, how much etc.
I really dont know where to start, but think she would really like this.
Any ideas guys/girls
Cheers

If it were me, I'd stand next to the burger van or bar cos I chuffin hate football...in fact if I found myself at a ground at all I'd be rather disappointed in myself!

A local bus tour operater near me supports Man U and he sometimes gets enough tickets to take a coach load there. Took my son there for one of his birthdays one year and the contact he had who supplies the tickets came round the bus giving them out, he only give me two season passes, I asked the boy shall we make our own way home and keep them, but i`m to honest to do something like that. They were playing Bolton on the first home game of the season.
BTW I`m no Man U supporter but it was quite enjoyable.

Hi, non football fan here, but my company has season tickets for customers etc. Which game were you looking to go too? I have been once, they are good (IMHO!) seats. They are in demand right now due to xmas (we give some of our best customers matches at xmas) but if I can fit you in then I am sure we can arrange loan of the tickets, assuming you agree to a couple of minor terms.

If you want to take her to a football match why are you taking her to Old Trafford Could get tickets but would require me ringing at least 5 people and today, Im very tired and hung over so I hardly even have the motivation to write this text message let alone help somebody. Sorry Cookie.
P.S. How much are you willing to pay for a ticket and to which game, I could ask a friend whos a ST holder

The only way i get to seemy one and onylteam, yes, The red devils, is to go via my local support group, he has extra tickets assigned to the support fans so if about 5or 6 more people want to watch a game, or if anyone pulls out, he sells the tickets on, the only way to watch em for me nowadays, its rare i get to see amatch clincherbecause no-one is sick on those days, i usually get to see utd v west ham, enough said about that game,or a few yrs back i watch utd v leeds etc.
see if theres a local support hroup in ur area and contact the chairman of the group and go from there.
cheers

I would be amazed if you get tickets for the Derby, not only is it the Derby, it is also the 50 year anniversary of the Munich air crash, there are loads of things planned and Utd are wearing a 1958 replica kit with no sponsor or player names and even City are wearing a special kit to mark the occasion.
In short it's probably the most sought after league game for 50 years!

Agree with Paul3446, Derby tickets will be like gold dust.
Whenever I have been to Old Trafford with Norwich, there are always touts outside hawking tickets, but as Norwich is not exactly the most sought after fixture, I guess there were more to hawk around.
