lol I have not heard a thing about UK weather other than.....bleak haha.
We have had kinda 30+ every day, pure sun Needless to say passport control done a double take with the picture
Weight, well as expected I have eaten real food every day for 8 days now, im up about 6lb, but if you catch my drift.... im still carrying some excess from the last meal there.
Reckon tomorrow morning, after nature takes over, I will be about 4lb up. Which is fine by me Back to to grind stone now though, and sensible eating.
Anyone who works in airport security would DIE if they saw Punta Cana airport.!

Welcome back, did you have a good time? Did you resist all the good food and booze? Are you tanned and lithe??
I'm just looking outside at the rain and I have to admit the thought of a nice beach and warm sun does sound very appealing at the moment.
Anyone fancy a cheap, last minute break to the Caribbean?

Well that's a first for Scoobynet, a photo of a naked man in a bath
I read the "but I did SIN big time..." bit and have to admit that eating starchy foods wasn't the first thing that entered my mind

lol tbh was havin more fun watching the airport first hand
Was shocked at the reaction to a big orange helicopter with a star and some stripes on the side of it appearing over the air strip. The airport just STOPPED !
USA Coastguard rescue chopper. Not sure what he was doing there, but the airport bowed to them

Me and the missus are thinking of a little jaunt in Feb to the Dominican Republic. Whereabouts did you stay / which hotel? Was it good? Any recommendations for excursions etc. and things to watch out for (timeshare scammers )
Certainly looks really nice from the photos.
Cheers,
Graz

You ought to be shot for flaunting those pictures about the place-off to confession with you immediately!
Glad you had a great time though-to hell with the extra 6 lbs, you can soon lose that and its worth it anyway.
Worse bit is coming to terms with being back!
Les

Graz, no prob with a recommendation.
Grand Palladium resort, Punta Cana. There are 3 hotels in the Grand Palladium. My recommendation would be the Punta Cana.
VERY close to the beach, as in 30-40 ft to the sand, and about 70-80 to the sea!
The junior suites are lovely, but not really worth the extra unless you MUST have a sea view.
Excursions, not done any, but some of the review sites have little good to say. The resort alone has so much to do, and the staff are wonderful.
Want any more info, drop me a PM. More than happy to help you have a good trip
I would hand on heart go back there tomorrow, money VERY well spent!
Les, you know what, its all good mate, im happy to be home. Got a call a couple of days ago for my operation, so glad to be home and on the final approach to the theatre
As for the extra pounds, 2-3 of them ae gone already 48 hours and I should be back to normal lol
