McCann case - why the wait for these photofits?

Can someone please explain to me why these sort of images in this case are appearing months after the incident. First we had an image of the potential abductor generated from a description from one of their friends nearly 6 months after the 'abduction' - what happened, did this friend develop amnesia for 6 months or what?
Now we have a new one. Again why the wait? Did the holidaymaker just suddenly wake up and remember this?
This case gets weirder by the week.

On wrecking their brains a bit, they get conscience pricking flashbacks, I suppose! Lady Diana is being talked about after so many years of her death, so Maddie's case is quite new in compare. I know it seems ridiculous, but more publicity begets more opportunity to catch the bast**d! So, i can justify more publicity, pics, speculations, guesses, new leads, evidences, witnesses etc. etc. to some degree. Can't deny that sometimes, it all seems useless, when the child is still missing and the abductor is at large. It has been a long time, and it's all getting very tiring, this media fanhitting. Imagine what it must be like for the parents! Now, police have two images to go for. One of them could be the co-offender, or he may have **** all to do with it (he could be just a lurker), who knows! Poor (if he is telling truth) Robert Murray got grilled for life over this case as well! <sighs> Hope McCanns find their daughter's whereabouts. That's all I can wish for.

Yeah from the moment i saw those two i felt there was something about them that just felt very fake Not to mention Gerry just comes across as an arrogant sod. I think loads of folk think it but are to scared to say it cause its not the "PC" thing to do.

As for photfits appearing now.............. BULLSHEEEEEEEEEEET ! Plain and simple imo. And if the person wants to be taken seriously, they should be arrested and charged with witholding evidence or perverting the course of justice.

What pissed me off the most was the "daily blog" they were doing. Expecting to read a real outpour of emotion..... however I was left reading how far up the friggin mountain gerry and his bint ran up the mountain that morning.
Daily routine still not changed then eh, leave the kids at home while you **** about! You lost one already!!!

Take a GOOD look at the attached photo's..... notice a likeness?
Look at the mouth and face structure.... strange isn't it, also the 'Evil' man would seem to have a woman's build and stance....

I dunno, it may be a little harsh but at the end of the day the McCanns are still the official main suspects in the view of the Portugese Police. All they've done since the finger has been pointed in their direction is release sobbing statements about how unhelpful this unwanted attention is, and dubious photofits by people who apparently may have seen something important but didn't realise at the time. 
I mean FFS, the first photofit they released was of a guy with short light coloured hair and absolutely no facial features at all, a completely blanked out face. Now they're saying this new photofit has striking similarities to the first one. Oh really, and there's me thinking this photofit is a polar opposite of the last one, a long haired mexican! Talk about Jackanory...
Still, they've made £1.2 million already from suckers (sorry, I mean well wishers) and they have a movie deal on the way - so not all bad.
