In a nutshell,
The 13th Warrior (1999)
It is worth a watch, well shot, well directed and great storyline
Banderas is really pretty good in it!
Won't tax you mentally but some great fight scenes and may make you jump from time to time.

Watched it last night, again.....Good watch, no complicated plot lines, good battle scenes, and one of the guys looks like a badly shaved Yeti, he's huge! Good Viking fare.
