Default TV, Phone and Broadband "bundles" any suggestions

We want to get all three installed shortly but cant decide who to go for, there currently is a phone line installed (but unconnected).

Any good/bad experiences with any of the main companies, or recommendations?

Cheers

Im on Orange.

With a £30 contract or above you get your home phone and 8mg BB for £15 a month.

Suits me fine. Run a few PC's off it, get lots of free calls and a free second line.

Do not go for Virgin Media mate!

If there's one bad choice I've made in the whole 26 years of my life, choosing them was the biggest so far!

Complete and utter trollop, customer service to match!

It's only good if you can get it, so check, otherwise the package they then offer isn't worth it.

Any package now will be be beaten soon. Keeping up with the best deal is a full time job.

I've changed about that often I've no idea who I'm with now.

I have Sky but not the 'bundle' it doesn't come out to villages as a rule.

I think without a phone number you can't test if you are in the zone on their website. It's been highlighted on here only this week, from memory. Some chap signed up to the bundle and then had his phone line fitted to find it wasn't offered where he lived. Broadband is then offered on it's own at £17/month.

Make sure first.

Im guessing your not already on an Orange mobile plan? If you were, it would be the cheapest option

Not all ISP's can work through all exchanges yet, something like that.

Had Virgin for years (back to the days of NTl dialup) and never had any real issues to talk of. As said above however - Sky rules the tv world

That was me. Look at Samknows, and find your exchange from the postcode. This shows you if the exchange has Sky LLU equipment - if it has, you'll get the broadband for a fiver. If not, you'll have to get Sky Connect at 17 quid. Sky can't tell you this though for some reason, as apparently they can't tell which exchange you'll be connected to with just the postcode - strange how the sam knows site could tell though.
