Weight gain results from holiday eating..
Well after 8 weeks of abstainance, and going to the Caribbean, I went straight in at the deep end.
Bacon and omlette for breakfast each day, rice, a few chips and meat for lunch, and similar for dinner each day for 8 days.
What an impact its taken on my weight loss record......
I was eating smaller portions etc, and getting some exercise when and where I could, swimming in the sea etc. But at the same time missing out on my long walks with the dog daily too.
So anyway, when I came home from holiday, a couple of days ago I was really feeling knackered and craved chicken and rice so I bought some.
Weighed myself today, and what a shock!!

Lost another 3lbs
So, in over a week of being back on solids, my body didnt panic and start storing everything, my metabolism was not **** poor and unable to digest the food, and I didn't put any weight on.
Using foodpacks again now, to lose the last few pounds for the original goal. With the odd bit of chicken or fish here and there
I love weighing over 4 stone less lol

lol im not sure actually
Now maybe I should worry im ill and going to waste away to nothing? lol
But will 200lbs to go, I think im safe for now.
Pleased though. Body had a shock from the food no doubt, built up a bit of a backlog before it started working at getting rid of again (if you catch my drift lol )
But all seems well enough now. Only thing I was not looking forward to was the weigh in at LL, and being told I had gained. Hopefully that wont be the case now lol.

As for ask me how, I think I have whined on about Lighter Life enough now.
Apparently I should be dead or in hospital by now, but by all accounts......im not
DCI, 200lbs is about 4 Kate Moss's aint it lol
I have no fear of getting silly skinny. No intentions either. Am already looking at myself and thinking maybe this is enough
Just a few more pounds to hit the under 200 mark I set myself, then time to ease up and get fitter
I can see my ribs now, as well as feel my hip bone, which are 2 things I have not done for a long time. Thats where I wanted to be.
SJ, right now I would hardly call it eating, more drinking

£66 a week for all the foodpacks 28 of them, 4 a day.
That also included the folder, all the info, the meetings, the drinks shaker, water bottle, bag, whisk etc they give you also.
All in all, considering you have NO other intake, its not a bad price, and as for value for money.
its cost about £100 per stone to lose lol
Im pretty sure I was spending more than £66 a week on food, snacks, drinks etc. So I have actually saved money, and saved my life too

Its really not as bad as it sounds.
Speaking of which, update on you magic pills please? lol How you getting on
Ro, its something you get used to VERY quickly and easily, once you realise the difference between require and desire....
A lot of the feeling of wanting to eat is emotionally based, and you just desire food.
Bit like women and WANT and NEED...... Women NEED everything they see, but in reality only WANT it.
Same with food, you NEED chocolate, chips, fizzy drinks etc when you see and smell them, your body puts up the hungry sign, and you respond.
However once you know when you actually NEED food, rather than just WANT food, the cravings die off fast.
The bars and drinks are more than satisfying once your body settles.
Personally, being almost 20 stone, having seriously high blood pressure, and being at risk from a stroke is more than enough for me to give up food for a few weeks, to get to a safer weight where I can now take care of myself better. Not to mention the other medical issues.

Good work.
My mate needs this. He's 27 stone and 6'2", fat bas*ard isn't the word
Really great guy, but he's had weight problems for 10-15 years and is trying everything, but always falls back on crap food.
Maybe I should suggest this?

At least gets you back on your feet and able to take a more sensible approach to your lifestyle
LighterLife
If he wants a bit of an inspirational read... Blog archive
Read that from end to start (it runs most recent so has to go backwards)
The reason I love this so much is for the way its changed my attitude towards food as a whole.
I dont want loads of crap now, and even when away, a handful of chips was more than enough, and I was drawn to loads of veggies etc.
Fizzy drinks, had some while away, but no desire for them now. Same with snacks etc.
Definatly worth a look. Know a few people who have done this, as well as those on the course, and they are all doing well. Darren from the course has lost coming on 12 stone! He was a 20+ stone, seriously unhealthy lad. Halved his weight in 6 months.

I read that website. Obviously I don't have a bad enough problem for them to take me on, my BMI is lower than the minimum. I suppose that should make me feel good
£66 a week is what we spend on food for a week at the supermarket for the 3 of us. We do probably spend a very small amount more than this on food etc, but that's minimal. Perhaps I just need to go for a walk every lunchtime!

Aaaah there you go then skinny
There is always the Medi Fast option, same idea, cheaper etc
Have a look on Ebay for it.
If you were gonna do that, I would do it like the slim fast plan. 1 meal a day and substitute the rest. No need for abstainance or ketosis. Especially if your not too bad anyway
As for walks, yes, very much so, try and get 30+ mins in a day, makes the world of difference
Speaking of which, im off out for one now.

Sooooooooo close to target today lol.
200.6lbs now.
Initial goal 199lbs
I reckon I can be on goal in the morning
Had a lovely chicken breast for lunch yesterday too. Mmmmmmm!
Reckon I will move to a secondar goal of 189, then prob stop there, concentrate on reintroducing regular food, and then hope the operation is done soon and get back to training
