Question Need a challange.... something challanging?

Well I'm looking to do something (as per title) challanging this year!

It has to be no longer than a week, and be SPECTACULAR....

I've looked at climbing to Everest's base camp, but that's 25 days in total... and as a guide I don't wan't to be digging wells or building bogs in Africa

Any ideas???

There's loads of charity challenges like walking the great wall etc. where you have to raise enough money first.

Cycle Lands End to John O groats?

3 Peaks Challenge?

We did the Pennine CycleWay last year in 5 days, 350 miles. Challenge 2007 for info

Situated along the Garden Route at the Tsitsikamma Forest Village Market South Africa is the
BLOUKRANS BRIDGE Recognised by the Guinness World Records as
the highest commercially operated Bungy Jump in the world at 708 feet....
which is about 100' taller than the Telecom Tower in London.
Some of the photos he took travelling to and from there are stunning. Lovely place, cheap as hell, and one heck of a challenge for the adrenaline junkie

Too easy... has to be SPECTACULAR (with the added probability of losing my life) .......

Excluding Iraq, Afganistan, all Africa and anywhere else that's classed as the murder capital of its country

Bungy's OK but not really a challenge. I'm terrified of heights but still did 340ft/104m Pipeline in NZ.

See my post above. The book differentiates between pseudo-extreme sports (look terrifying but low real risk of death) and real ones (make a mistake and you're toast). For the latter, only a dodgy bungy set-up would count.

With the caption "What a view..... ohh and the Bloukrans bridge is about 100 feet higher "

You know it makes sense lol

I dont think I would want to go near Everest any more. Mrs Leslie tells me that they say it is like a council tip with all the rubbish which has been dumped by expeditions and also on the way to the summit you are likely to see dead people's hands etc sticking out of the snow because previous expeditions were too selfish to attempt to rescue them! This was quoted on a programme about it apparently.

Na I know what you mean mate, but I guess it depends on the individual definition of a challenge. Challenge the body, mind, senses, stamina etc..

For something to say you did, the bungee is certainly something to remember, whilst taking in some of SA's finest countryside.

But then there are other things to do that are more of a challenge I guess
