Boys toy - Unfinished project
Wasn't sure whether to post this in other marques but i thought it may be worthwhile NSR for the readership.
Some of you may remember JayPSC (Jerome) who posted on here and sadly passed away last year. I must confess I didn't know him, but it turns out I do know his Mum and she has asked me for some advice, hence why I'm turning to you lot.
Jerome had bought a GT40 rep (https://www.scoobynet.com/other-marq...eady-ship.html). From what I gather he had all the parts to complete.
Sadly it was never completed and the kit is in various bits and pieces but would make a fantastic project for someone who had a fair amount of cash to splash on a toy. These kits are very expensive.
His Mum has asked me to see whether there is any interest in this sort of thing, she has already spoken to the main people on the Gt40 rep web site and there is some interest there as well, just thought with the demographic on here there might be interest.

Shocked that i didnt see this first time round, but it seems it all happened while I was in the US last year.
Belated commiserations to all involved. I was really looking forward to Jay finishing his car. Hope it can get passed onto to someone who will lavish the same attention on it as Jay obviously did.

Condolences, terrible shame, remember the thread well, it did cross my mind when I saw a GT40 rep on the road.
RIP Jay.

Matt, it is inevitable that people want to know the circumstances when someone passes, sometimes if only to donate to an appropriate charity, I think you have covered as much as anybody needs to know.

Yes, that's an option. There has already been one offer made, but I get the impression the offer was way short of true value. I get the impression that it would be better going to an enthusiast at that price who would know what it meant than to some faceless guy who wants to make a few quid.
