Quarry Bank mill
Anyone been lately ?.
we got dragged thera as kids, so we took ours today.
Parking over at the ship inn at Styal, at worked through the old workers cottages to the mill out the otherside and onto Styal woods.
What a lovely day it was, we really enjoyed it and it didnt cost a bean.
Normally on a sunday they just stay in or near the house on their DS lites, but we took them there today
I thoroughly recommend it to anybody as a nice family day out

Only ever been there once, with school when were learning about the industrial revolution in the fourth year (22 years ago 
).
Should go again really, all that early engineering stuff is right up my street
