when you see pictures of satellites with people standing around them they are not the size of a bus. They have probably taken the span of the solar panels, which probably is the length of a bus and used that to gauge it's size.....not to shock and awe us at all, oh no.

Oh my Christ - that has GOT to be a spoof article!!!
For crying out loud... get this line:
"Hydrazine, a colorless liquid with an ammonia-like odor, is a toxic chemical and can cause harm to anyone who contacts it. "
For Gods sake DON'T PHONE THE SATELLITE!!! It will bring harm to you ALL!!!!

What do you expect from the daily mail FFS.
By the time it gets through the atmosphere it will be the size of grains of sand probably, nice light show and all that but sweet FA else.
Oh and 361 MILLION square kilometers of this planet are covered in water.
Chances of bits of it landing on dry land are slim at best..

As the Earths surface is approximately 2/3 covered in water there is approximately a 33% chance of anything falling from orbit hitting land.

Just think of the poor satellite. As far as its concerned there is this MASSIVE planet some people call Earth coming straight for it!!! There it was just enjoying life, until as pointed out above, someone pushed the zoom button too hard when looking for WMDs in Iraq ![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Here we are concerned about something about the size of bus coming towards us. I know who is going to come off worse in this exchange.
Why are there no truggers (aka tree huggers) out on the streets demanding it be preserved? Why is there no atmospheric tax to penalise us for having an atmosphere that is about to burn this poor satellite up
