Default Creatamax extreme

Started the body building game a few months ago.. been off (so to speak) with an injury for a few weeks... totally not connected with my training.

Will be back training again soon and was given a tub of this creatamax stuff...

Anyone know how it works.. if I should use it ? etc ?

I've actually got a bloody tub of ceemax which is Creatine Ethyl Ester staring at me as we speak which is meant to be better than normal creatine. TBH i jumped on the band wagon years ago when it first came out - its ok but no magic potion.

You look bigger due to the water retention, and it makes your muscles contract harder, but for me its not real size you are putting on its just water.

Like i said its ok but i'm personally not a big fan.

Diet more than anything and hard training (but not overtraining) is the key.

Dont let those legs fall behind. Some of the biggest muscles in your body, and seemingly some of the hardest to build. Love seeing chicken legged "body builders"

Cant you get a pump for making "that" bigger lol

Serious though, I know what you mean. Personally using creatine on its own gave me good gains, but as has been said, it has a bulking effect, rather than helping create mature muscle.

Whats your actual goal? What sort of shape and definition are you after?

To be honest mate its not worth getting into again,

I've spent a long time planning my exercises and everything. I just needed to know if this stuff was worth using up.. I guess it cant hurt !

Thanks

a third of people have no reaction to creatine whatsoever.

It just gave me a bit more pump in the gym, it won't give you any size. Food, Food, Food for that!

It does though, it gives your muscles more size which in turn makes your push harder !! etc

It doesn't, it gives you more pump to train harder, hence increased muscle size, not size solely from the creatine, you shouldn't get to much water retention really

I thought creatine helped you max out your muscles for longer. It doesn't actually gain muscle but helps you tear the muscle fibre more which then leads to them growing back bigger and stronger. Your muscles may look bigger but that is water retention. I might be wrong but thats what I thought

yes there is water retention in muscle which gives the bigger look. creatine is a fuel as said above and will make you last longer in reps. you gain strength. sorry if first post was miss leading.

It does work to a degree, but be careful with it!! Only take the recommended amount and cycle it, it can damage your kidneys if not used properly.

You need to increase your water intake a lot when using it to help keep the kidneys healthy.

I used it for a short while but decided the potential risks arent worth the small potential gains. I take a small amount in MyProtein Hurricane, but it's minimal.
