Capital one problems - phone number or email addy?
for someone other than an indian call centre staff.
Getting beyond a joke now, can only get through to idiots in call centres who do not understand the request to get a callback by a manger to sort a problem THEY have caused.
Not one of them has added our request to their call notes/screen and we just keep getting the same call time and time again.
stupid and pathetic and we will change card providers for one with english call centres as this is just about enough.

Anyone - have had three calls (alone) today each time i have told them in no uncertain terms to transfer us to an english based manager or supervisor to sort this out or to update the call noters on their screen to get this actioned - each time "thank you sir" and the phone goes dead. ******* idiots!
What sort of way to run a business - oh, thats right - the cheap way with no regards for your customers.
anyone reccomend a decent card provider with an english call centre and some idea of how to treat thier customers?!*?

What happens if you ring up your new provider and find that although the call centre is based in the UK someone with an accent you find difficult answers?
Switch to a company that only employs white anglo saxons from a specific area of England?

surely the fact they use cheap call centres in India is one reason why they were able to offer such a good rate / package that enticed you to this company in the first place?
I assume you are prepared to pay more for a card company which uses a UK call centre?

I'm sure you could work out who it was if you wanted
The poor little fella has gone to all that trouble to get 25 posts out of the way so he can't be banned by the community, and this was his 26th.
You should be honoured.

I buy on price and quality, not just price and I DO expect GOOD customer service - which is these days what differenciates companies as they all offer pretty much the same thing at a similar cost so service and the customer experience is all that seperates them really.
Which is why i asked for any reccommendations as well.
Do you have any or anything useful to contribute?

Boring I know, but Natwest does as its advertised, UK only call centres, manned by people who can help you, or if they can't get an answer straight away do call you back.

I have cancelled 2 credit cards in the past (both after I found out their cust services were in India)
Why, because I don't want to be a customer of a company that offshores british jobs.
for this same reason I won't use Norwich Union insurance.

I have an amazon card, underwritten by Halifax. Did it to see if my credit file had been repaired after being a student.
Got it, and whilst the centre is in Edinborough, I've only ever spoken to Americans and always been very helpful.
Infact my longest call was 3 mins 34 secs according to the phone.
Ring, answer, pass security, ask question, get answer, thank you have a nice day!
